Join us each morning at The 1661 Inn-from Memorial Day until October 1st-for our fabulous champagne breakfast; offering a true taste of New England. Each morning our breakfast features an array of dishes including eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, homemade muffins and much more. To help you truly celebrate your vacation, we also include a complimentary glass of champagne.
Our breakfast is open to the public from Memorial Day-October 1st 8:00am – 10:00am and is $40.00 for adults & $20.00 for children under ten. Guests of the resort received a reduced rate of $15.00 for adults & $8.00 for children under ten.
During the quiet season, from October 1st until Memorial Day, our guests can enjoy a complimentary light Continental Breakfast from 8:00am-10:00am.

The Oar, a casual American restaurant with the added bonus of a fabulous sushi menu serving lunch and dinner daily overlooking the Great Salt Pond. This island institution is family-friendly, fun and not to be missed!
Enjoy our more casual side at The Oar, located at the Boat Basin in New Harbor on the beautiful Great Salt Pond. Serving lunch and dinner daily, The Oar offers something for everyone, including the area’s best clam chowder, New England lobster rolls, burgers, and a full sushi bar. Kick back on the back deck, featuring an unrivaled view of Great Salt Pond, as you enjoy a leisurely lunch or a sip of our famous Block Island Mudslide.
The Oar does not take reservations. If you have specific questions or would like to make arrangements to hang an oar, please call the restaurant at 401-466-8820 (phone answered seasonally).
Entertaining? Our Sushi chefs are happy to create the perfect platter for you (24 hours advance notice required).

The Narragansett Inn restaurant, porch and lawn are available for private events from Mother’s Day through Indigenous Peoples’ Day from noon to 10pm. There are no guest room rentals required.
The dining room can seat up to seventy guests and the north side of the covered porch can seat up to sixty guests. There is room for a spacious tent on the lawn.
There is a $1,000.00 facility fee to utilize the porch, dining room and lawn. There is a $2,000.00 facility fee if a tent will go on the lawn.
Any event with attendance of more than seventy-five guests will require the rental of additional bathroom facilities.
The minimum bill requirement for events with 31 guests or more is $5,000.00. The minimum bill requirement for events with 30 guests or fewer is $3,000.00.
Outside caterers are welcome at this location. If an outside caterer is utilized, you will be responsible for the facility fee and the bar charges (through us). The caterer will not have access to our kitchen, but will have access to potable water.
In all cases there is a 20% service charge, 7% state sales tax and 1% food and beverage tax.
Our pricing and sample menus are on our website in the catering section. We are very flexible with menu and event styling, so feel free to “mix and match” from menus or make special requests.

Farmstead Refreshments Food Truck is located on Spring Street at the 1661 Farms & Gardens. Enjoy a relaxed lunch, smoothie or a snack while immersed in one of the happiest places on earth. The menu has a little something for everyone (even the Goats!).
Open for lunch daily in summer and weekends during shoulder seasons. Experience a ‘seed’ to ‘soul’ food truck with fresh garden produce from the 1661 Gardens. Linger in the gardens, pet the Alpacas and stop by the Farm Stand for fresh produce or flowers.
Farmstead Refreshments also offers a Charcuterie menu. Order ahead and pick up for an evening at the beach, boat or rental house.
